This June 2011 Findings and Conclusions from the Allen County (Indiana) Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals provides details about the denial of a property tax exemption for Jerit, CS Fund 1 LLC for a site it owns in Fort Wayne, Indiana that is leased by Imagine Schools, Inc., for a charter school. The denial was the subject of an article in The Journal Gazette of Fort Wayne.

This May 2011 report prepared by Ernst & Young examines the connection between charter school performance and loan performance. The report covers a variety of performance indicators on 430 loans totaling $1.2 billion from 2000 to 2009. Data about foreclosures, refinancings and extensions, and loan terms, as well as school-based characteristics such as size and academic performance are included in the report.

This March 2011 U.S. Government Accountability Office report focuses on the way Washington, D.C., officials handle offers from charter schools for surplus public school buildings and makes recommendations for improving transparency.
