This evaluation, prepared by Minnesota's Office of the Legislative Auditor, examined student performance in charter schools in Minnesota and questions related to the oversight and accountability of charter schools. The authors review their key findings and make several recommendations to improve the oversight provided by charter school governing boards and charter school authorizers in Minnesota.

This 2008 report presents findings from exploratory case studies of six charter schools identified due to their reported success educating children with disabilities. The case studies were exploratory in nature, documenting what charter schools are offering children with disabilities. Selected schools were perceived to be innovative or particularly successful with children with disabilities.
