This is the September 2011 collaboration compact between the Boston Public Schools and the Boston Alliance of Charter Schools. Signed by the mayor, chair of the city school committee, city schools superintendent and 15 charter school leaders, the document covers a common enrollment calendar, shared professional development, a common accountability system to better enable parents to compare schools, access to facilities, and efforts by charter schools to recruit more from the areas where they are located to reduce public school transportation costs.
