The State of Charter School Authorizing, 2010, is the third annual report on the National Association of Charter School Authorizers’ survey of authorizers. The report includes major findings about trends, comparisons of the operating characteristics of large and small authorizers as well as school district and nondistrict authorizers, and analyses and descriptions of types of authorizers. The report was based on 162 survey responses involving 33 states.
