Charter School Management Organizations: Diverse Strategies and Diverse Student Impacts

This November 2011 study from Mathematica Policy Research and the Center on Reinventing Public Education examines management and instructional practices at 40 charter management organizations (CMO). The study covers achievement for middle-school students at 22 of the CMOs, and also includes information about the geographic distribution of CMOs student demographics, the sizes of schools and classes, and per-pupil spending.
