Two March Webinars to Focus on How to Build Effective Performance Management Systems at Charter Schools

How charter schools can build effective performance management and compensation systems will be the focus of two webinars in March 2012 hosted by the Center for Educator Compensation Reform (CECR), a federally funded technical assistance center.
Identifying and Utilizing Supports for Developing Performance-Based Compensation Systems, to be held on March 15, 2012, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, will highlight CECR resources available to charter schools, and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching will discuss aligned talent management systems and share resources and best practices.
Innovations in Comprehensive Educator Performance Management Systems, to be held on March 29, 2012, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, will highlight how E.L. Haynes Public Charter School in Washington, D.C., is developing a comprehensive talent management system that aligns teacher recruitment, evaluation, feedback, professional development, and compensation.
