Toshiba America Foundation Grants for Grades K - 5

 The Toshiba America Foundation provides grants to elementary schools (Grades K-5) of up to $1,000 to support project-based learning in science and mathematics. Previously funded projects include the building of miniature-scale working catapults, trebuchets, and Rube Goldberg-inspired launching machines at a school in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In Chicago, Illinois, third grades built their own musical instruments, learned about pitch and sounds, and performed a concert of their favorite songs using instruments they had created.

Applications are due by October 1, 2012. Applicants are strongly encouraged to call the foundation prior to submitting an application.
