NIST Research Experience for Teachers (NIST RET) Program

This program seeks applications from public school districts for support for science teachers to participate in research with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) scientists and engineers at the NIST Campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Teachers must have successfully completed the NIST Summer Institute to participate.

Total amount to be awarded is $24,000 for this cooperative agreement, with support for approximately 3 teachers and not more than $8,000 per teacher.
