ASCD Outstanding Young Educator Award

The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) is accepting nominations for the 2012 Outstanding Young Educator Award. Educators should be "pre-K-20 education professionals, 40 years of age or younger, and demonstrate exemplary commitment and exceptional contribution to the profession".

The winner will receive a check for $10,000, be profiled in Educational Leadership Magazine, and receive an ASCD Institutional Membership for his or her school or district. The deadline to submit nominations is August 1, 2012.
