1st Annual Green Schools National Conference

A national conference, with the theme “Growing Green Schools Across America,” is set for Oct. 24-26 in Minneapolis. The conference, focusing on the K-12 education community, is being held for the first time. It is a project of the Green Charter Schools Network, a Wisconsin not-for-profit organization.

But the conference is gathering leaders and educators from all types of schools, along with business, community, and public policy leaders, in an effort to “promote environmental literacy and sustainable school communities,” according to conference organizers.
