Since 2005, the Educational Facilities Financing Center of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation has provided periodic updates on the state of the charter school facility financing landscape. While charter schools have flourished since the last edition in 2007, securing adequate and affordable facilities remains a central challenge, hindering the growth of some of the country’s highest performing schools.
